Self Care (Mindful Habits)

Your soul is your entire being! Mind, body and spirit. Soul care is not selfish. The more you take care of yourself the more you'll be able to take care of others. Amidst all the chaos it's really important to stay calm and keep your mind peaceful.
I would like to introduce some peaceful activities that will feed your soul and bring calm to your senses.
 
1. Plant, Harvest and propagate. 

Plants not only gives us plenty of oxygen they are very helpful in calming our senses. When you take care of a plant it gives you a sense of responsibility and when that plant flourishes it creates an aura of positivity, happiness in your surroundings. There are a lot of options for everyone when it comes to plants. Succulents, pathos are easy to take care of and gives a green touch to your surroundings. Also you can harvest some mint in any pot. Buy some mint from the market and put some of them into the water till they grow roots and then you can plant them in soil. 

2. Meditate 

Meditation is something which is the major habit if you want to ease the tension in your body or mind. Practice a little meditation each time you feel stressed. Take a break, close your eyes and begin breathing gently and slowly, practice deep breathing technique, focus on the third eye, imagine a clear light in your mind and let it flow into your whole body.

3. Books 

 Books are a great way to know more and for better understanding of your own self. There are a lot of self help books or motivational books that gives you a sense of motivation and a way to manage your thoughts. 
The sky is the limit by James Allen is a great self help book. 

4. Be creative 

There's no age limit in being creative. Creativity is something that helps us being more productive and create a space for learning something we enjoy. Sketching, pottery, gardening, photography, sewing, organizing, diy crafts no matter what you choose it will give you an amazing experience of knowing something. Do not forget to enjoy while you do it. 

5. Relaxing sound, music 

Music is a great calming therapy. Tune into some calming music of your choice and dance on the rhythm. It must be a happy dance. Dance like no one is judging feel all the positive aura in your surroundings with every move. 

6. Warm beverage 

Have your alone time with a hot cup of beverage in one hand. A hot beverage is something that we can't have in hurry with each sip feel its warmth in your body enjoy every sip you take. There are plenty of options for you lemon tea, ginger tea, black coffee, or some mint flavored water.
